Who is Barack Obama?
This page will take a while to put together. I want to look at what we know about Barack Obama’s early history, but unbiased information on the topic can be hard to find.
Three documents have always struck me as odd. In the first one below, Obama claimed that he’d never gone by any names other than Barack Hussein Obama. That was on his BAR application, in Illinois:
So Obama said he’d never gone by any other names, yet when he was a child and attending school in Indonesia, he was known as Barry Soetoro. His mother’s second husband (Lolo Soetoro) adopted young Obama and gave him his name:
