Rod Serling

Rod Serling wrote for radio, television and the movies from the 1940s to the 1970s.  His most famous creation was The Twilight Zone, which ran on television from 1959 to 1964.  Serling wrote 92 of the show’s 156 episodes.  Some of his plays were adapted from other writers’ work, but most were originals.  Many people consider The Twilight Zone to be the most innovative television program ever aired.
